NHHI Hand Hygiene Auditor Training
Training of hand hygiene auditors will change from face-to-face, to online from the
1st May 2023.
Revalidation - General Auditors GA/HA
From the 1st May – 30th September 2023
General Auditors GA/HA that are yet to complete (not due) their revalidation requirements can complete either:
Existing revalidation process:

- 100 moments hand hygiene collected & submitted into HHCAPP
- completion of the annual auditor validation in LMS
Or
Follow the new pathway:

-
- complete the new Hand Hygiene Auditor (HA) online assessment module
From the 1st October 2023 & onwards
GA/HA’s must follow the new revalidation pathway
Revalidation - Gold Standard Auditors GSA/HAE
From the 1st May –30th June 2023
Gold Standard Auditors GSA/HAE that are yet to complete (not due) their revalidation requirements can complete either:
Existing revalidation process:

- 100 moments hand hygiene collected & submitted into HHCAPP
- completion of the annual auditor validation in LMS
Or Follow the new pathway:
From 1st July – onwards

complete the online HA training module

complete HA online assessment module
-
complete HAE training online module
-
facilitate 3 training workshops HA/HAE over a 3-year period
NOTE:

- 1st October 2023 existing GA/GSA resources will be removed from the NHHI LMS
- 1st Jan 2024 will see full implementation of the new auditor training pathway
- Failure to complete revalidation will result in auditors losing their access to HHCApp & LMS education training documents
